  1. Hey Greg

My 3 year old daughter and I saw the fireworks on Saturday from the youth football fields off of Triangle road. I successfully found a spot where we can view but also have an easy exit strategy in case she didn't like the noise. A few people there mentioned that you can usually hear the patriotic music from where we were at but this time you could not. So the question is...was there music being played during the fireworks?

BTW, my daughter and I enjoyed the display and it was nice for her to see her first fireworks display in her new home town. She did request that the moon be out next time as it was nowhere to be seen on Saturday night.

  2. Mike, I hadn't thought about it, but I don't believe there was any music!

We live a little over a mile away from the Auten Road School. For many years we watched the show from our front lawn, as do many of our neighbors. A couple of years ago, we decided we could walk to the show, pulling the kids in a wagon. Much easier than car or shuttle bus. This way they can get the experience of the whole community being together. There were about 5000 people there!

  3. We live near Woods Road School. So, the idea is to have a friend nearby where you can park your car, I get it. I'm working on that...buddy.
